Academic Keynote: Film Education in a Migration Society

Drawing upon their article they co-authored with Christine Kopf, Alejandro Bachmann (Academy of Media Arts Cologne) and Manuel Zahn (University of Cologne) will deliver a playful update on their ‘Film Education in a Migration Society’ project, along with long-time contributor Katja Lell (University of Cologne). Featuring a combination of film excerpts and discussion, this collaborative keynote will explore some of the ideas, processes and outcomes of a project seeking to rethink an aesthetic approach to film education in the context of a post-migration society.
